Guest Information

Advance reservations are required. We also require a two-night minimum stay on weekends. Room rates are based on double occupancy per night, are subject to change without notice, and are exclusive of tax.

DEPOSITS
A deposit of twenty-five percent of the total charges is required at the time of reservation. Guests may use credit card (VISA or MC), Traveler's Cheques, or personal check (the latter must be received within seven days of reservation).

CANCELLATION POLICY
For cancellations prior to two weeks of arrival date, we will refund the twenty-five percent deposit in full, less a $25.00 handling fee. For cancellations under two weeks, we will charge for the whole stay, and also issue a gift certificate for the same amount, good for use within a year.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Check-in is from 3PM; weekday check-out is 11AM; Sunday check-out is 12 noon.

BREAKFAST
A generous Continental breakfast is provided in your house Monday through Friday. A full Virginia Country breakfast is served on weekends. Please let us know of any special dietary requirements at the time of your reservation.

OTHER PARTICULARS
Corporate rates and catering are available for meetings.
We are an irreplaceable antique. Sorry, no smoking.
We cannot accommodate pets.
Well-behaved children over 12 are welcome in all quarters, younger children by prior arrangement in the Cottage.
Canoes and kayaks are available for $25 per day.
