Breakfast
At the North River Inn, we take our breakfasts seriously. On the
weekends, enjoy a generous, hot breakfast prepared and served by
the Inn's professional chef at Creek House. Our menu ranges from
a variety of egg dishes, both Southern and international in
flavor (made from our free-range hens' eggs), as well as
homemade pancakes and waffles, served with sweet or savory
toppings. Southern grits, enriched with sharp cheeses, often
make an appearance on our table. Our breakfast meats - thick,
Smithfield bacon, or Virginia sausage - are prepared and served
separately from our other dishes. We begin breakfast with fruits
in season, muffins, and end with fresh pastries. And we always
have plenty of hot coffee or freshly brewed tea.
During the week, enjoy a different kind of breakfast: a
"self-catered" continental meal, eaten in the privacy of your
own building, of fresh bread, pastries, fruit, cereal, milk,
juice, coffee, and tea. A 5% discount to the room rates applies
during the week.
